In the game of life, there are winners and there are losers. Most people know this. When they win, they win gratefully. And when they, they lose graciously.
It’s not that way with Democrats.
In the presidential race against Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and her supporters thought they they had the election won before the votes were even counted. It turns out they were wrong. Then things got ugly.
Apparently, the Russians were trying to hack the computers at the Democratic National Committee. The Obama administration knew about it for months, but didn’t say much because they figured Clinton was going to run away with the election and it wouldn’t make any difference anyway. After all, the Russians weren’t hacking into voting machines and changing votes.
On Wednesday, Nov. 9, the hacking story was the talk of the left-wing media. Even though there hasn’t been any proof that hacking caused Clinton to lose the election, the grappling for a reason, any reason, to claim the election was illegitimate continues.
Outgoing Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid,D-NV. earlier this year had been singing FBI Director James Comey’s praises. When Comey made public that he was going to look into Clinton’s email server again, Reid has now decided that that was the reason Clinton lost and Comey is nothing more than a right-wing hack.
Clinton’s advisers are blaming Huma Abedin and her inner circle for the loss. John Podesta, Clinton’s campaign manager has made the claim that Trump’s staff may have colluded with Russia.
The left is pulling out all the stops in a bid to de-legitimatize the election. Clinton supporters are railing against the Electoral College, saying it’s outdated, antiquated, and urging Electors for Trump to change their vote, by calling them, email and mail. Some Electors have gotten over 300,000 pieces of mail. Some Electors had to be escorted to cast their vote because of death threats. The silence from Democrat leaders to stop the harassment has been deafening.
The idea that maybe it’s Hillary’s fault is apparently not up for discussion. Not the lies. The parsing of words. The private server.
In 1960, Richard Nixon lost the presidential election to John Kennedy. Even though there was proof of voter fraud, Nixon wouldn’t push it “For good of the country.”
In the 2000 election, Al Gore had no such qualms about contesting the election. Now in 2016, the left is showing once again that they can’t accept defeat with any grace, To hell what it does to the country.
