Hypocrisy, Bitterness, Violence Define the Left

Donald Trump becomes the 45th president of the United States.

January 20, 2017 | by Arthur Seaton

Donald J. Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States at 12:00 on the steps of the Capitol in Washington, D.C.. Among the million plus people are left-wing “protesters” who are upset that their candidate, Hillary Clinton was defeated by Trump in the presidential election on Nov. 8.

Not in attendance are one-third of the members of the Democrat Party that were elected to serve all of their constituents in Congress, no matter the race, ethnicity or political beliefs. They decided not to attend because they say, Donald Trump is “illegitimate” and not the “legitimate President.” They claim that the Russians, FBI director James Comey and/or the man in the moon “fixed” the election in favor of Trump.

In reality, what they really want is publicity, otherwise they would have just stayed home instead of running to the nearest camera to announce their intentions.

Inauguration protests turn violent, car torched

So-called protesters are causing mayhem in what is supposed to be a peaceful transition of power from the sitting President to the newly elected President, no matter what political party they belong to. Their goal, they say, is to cause as much trouble as possible. According to one group, that disruption does not exclude violence. One person, James Allsup, 21, of Seattle, has already his head smashed in by flying bottles.

Protesters (rioters) have been reported breaking windows and looting businesses. One car has been reportedly been set ablaze.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, (D-NY.) delivered a long winded speech that delayed President-elect Trump’s swearing in. Thousands of spectators booed Schumer for seeming to delay the swearing in of President Trump

Opposite the protests and violence that’s taking place during Trump’s inauguration, is the reaction of Republicans during the inaugurations of President Obama in 2009 and 2013. There were no protest marches or violence. No members of Congress boycotted the inauguration. Republicans were respectful of the electoral process and to the President-elect. In other words, they acted like adults, unlike how Democrats and their left-wing supporters are acting.

Democrats are delaying the confirmation of President Trump’s Cabinet nominees, possibly putting our national security at risk in case of an emergency.

The lack of respect Democrats and others on the left are showing toward the inauguration process and the office of the Presidency has been a disgrace, and it shows no sign of letting up.
