Once again, Obama lied

The White Houseby Arthur Seaton | January 18, 2014

While the media is fixated on the scandal in New Jersey and whether or not Gov. Chris Christie had anything to do with the closing of the George Washington Bridge as payback for not receiving the endorsement of the mayor of Ft. Lee, NJ. when he was running for re-election, the Obama administration is lying to the American people about the actual number of people have signed up for Obamacare and other scandals.

The White House claimed that 2.2 million people had signed up for Obamacare and that an additional 3.9 million people bought health insurance for the first time since December.

In truth, 3.9 million people didn’t buy insurance for the first time. The administration added in existing consumers who already have Medicaid and were just renewing their policies. The actual number of new enrollees is 380,000.

In order to make the Affordable Care Act look like a success the administration blatantly lied to the American people. Of course, that’s nothing new. President Obama and his staff have lied to the American people so many times that it’s almost expected of them.

According to the Health and Human Services website, 79% of all enrollees signed up for coverage that receive financial help. The population that the government needs most to sign up, people under the age of 34, account for 24% of enrollees.

The federal government estimates that it needs 40% of all enrollees to be young adults in order to financially secure the program.
