Slate: Trump election proved US as ‘unjust, racist, sexist’

Self-hating white women protest the election of President-elect Trump

December 30, 2016

In the latest slap at deplorable supporters of President-elect Trump, the popular liberal news site Slate has declared that the defeat of Democrat darling Hillary Rodham Clinton revealed America to be “unjust, racist, sexist.”

According to a post from Associate Editor L.V. Anderson, the evil side of America won out in the election and stalled the progressive path under President Obama.

“After Trump’s election, it is more or less impossible to believe that we are making meaningful progress. White liberals who woke up horrified on Nov. 9 weren’t horrified because the world had suddenly changed—we were horrified because the scales had finally fallen from our eyes, and we could at least see our unjust, racist, sexist country for what it is,” she wrote.

“The next president will not be a woman, the makeup of the Supreme Court will not shift toward progressivism, and we are not jolly passengers on a cruise ship sailing toward an era of tolerance, justice, and respect for the dignity and rights of all,” she added.

Slate, like many left-wing sites, has decried Trump’s election. Upon opening the story, for example, a pop up box appears reading, “Help us hold Trump accountable.”
